Stephanie Curtis first got her foot in the door at Minnesota Public Radio in 1994 as an intern. Since then, she has worked on daily news shows, produced documentaries, co-hosted Sound Money, produced State of the Arts, and now serves as producer of Mary Lucia's weekday program on 89.3 The Current. With the good graces of the Midday crew, she sneaks onto the airwaves a few times each year as the Movie Maven. Before joining Minnesota Public Radio, Stephanie was a deckhand of private industry: managing bookstores, watering Bonsai trees, cleaning hotel rooms and hawking Christian Dior makeup at Harrods in London.
