Statement from the campaign:
As a local small businessman, homeowner, husband, and father of four, we share many of the same concerns; a strong economy, safety for our families, affordable health care, and an educational system that is second to none. While the cultural and economic climate of our country is rosy, we need to continue to make sure we sustain economic growth and ensure public safety, especially against habitual criminals. Affordable and accessible healthcare is a must for us and especially our elderly and disabled children and education is, excuse the pun, a no-brainer. Everyone wants a high quality, fiscally sound and accountable education system for our kids. These are a few issues I will champion for you, as your neighbor and state representative.

Biography:
Twenty-year active duty Air Force veteran retired October 2001; married 19 years to the cutest woman in the world, we have four equally cute children (they take after their mother); Apple Valley resident for eight years; currently work for Metropolitan Airports Commission in Public Safety and self employed in Internet sales; Member of American Legion, Knights of Columbus, former President of the Apple Valley Optimist Club; all around nice guy
