Statement from the campaign:
I have decided to run because our district needs strong non-partisan
leadership. We need to protect education and ensure that our way
of life is preserved. We need representation at the capitol that
will help build jobs, and keep people here. I feel that is not happening
now, and the time is now.

*Elected mayor of Ceylon, Minnesota in 1998
*Minnesota's youngest elected mayor ever.
*Has been mayor of Ceylon from 1998-present.
*Married to wife Ann, father to sons Austin and Ethan.
