Lonn is comitted to being a strong voice for the people of Northwestern Minnesota. Lonn feels strongly that the needs and concerns of rural Minnesota deserve the same consideration as the metro area when it comes to funding for our roads, education and economic growth. He is willing to stand up and speak out for the needs of the people of Northwestern Minnesota.

Biography:
Lonn Kiel is a lifetime resident of rural Crookston, where he farms with his wife, Debra. He is an active member of his community. He has a long record of service in the township, county and community. Achievements include: Hammond Township Board Supervisor, Crookston Fuel Board Riverview Hospital Foundation Board, Crookston Chamber of Commerce Board, Crookston Jaycees, Crookston Rotary Our Savior's Lutheran Day School Start-up Committee, School Board Treasurer, Secretary and Chairman West Polk County Farm Bureau Secretary, Vice President and President, Farm Bureau State Resolution Committee, American Crystal Sugar Co Board of Directors, Red River Valley Sugarbeets Growers' Association and Our Savior's Lutheran Church Treasurer, Trustee, Chairman, Sunday School Superintendent, Choir Member and Adult Bible Class Leader
