Statement from the candidate:
My campaign is about reconnecting the State House of Representatives with the ideals, needs and visions of Northeast Minneapolis residents. As a state representative I will listen to and work with my neighbors in Northeast to develop legislation that serves the community. The top issues of my campaign are promoting sustainable community-led development, holding polluters accountable, establishing universal health care, and strengthening the role of individuals in democracy through much needed reforms like instant run-off voting and fair and clean elections. This campaign is about empowering Northeast Minneapolis so it can be a vibrant community for ourselves and future generations.
